Debate • The first teachings

What does true repentance mean to you? Have you struggled with trying to earn God’s grace, rather than accept what Jesus has done on the cross? If you have had a revelation of grace, share some of that.

Have you been baptised in water? If so, why, and if not, why not? What do you think of child baptism? Have you been baptised in the Holy Spirit? What was it like? Is it for everyone?

Have you ever laid hands on someone, or been subject to that? What happened?

What do you believe happens after we die? What happens to people who do not believe in Jesus? What about those who never heard about him while they were alive?

Post your answers below, and ask any questions you like.

    Hi,
Working through this online as I’m on my year abroad in Spain with no access to a church! All of you in the UK be thankful for revival and pray lots for Spain! Less than 0.5% of Spain are Christians and they have NEVER seen revival here!
    • Repentance is always ……….………………, while faith is always ……….……
Must have missed this on the video a bit unsure as to what to write here!
If anyone can help me it would be greatfully appreciated!

    • Hi Lydia – I am glad that you are getting something out of the course. The missing words are “FROM” and “TO”. Basically repentance means to turn FROM something (like sin, dead works, etc), and faith is about turning TO something or someone. Does that make sense?

Where in Spain are you? We do have a church plant currently happening in Madrid. we can give you details if you can ever get there.
      Blessings
